Butterfly Beach Paint Out August 4 2009
A group of 5 nocturne painters including myself went down to Butterfly Beach on Tuesday evening just before the full moon rise. This is right in front of the Biltmore Hotel in Montecito, CA. www.paulcumes.com

Love the music pause to absorb the sound of the waves, the “Can you say tripod,” adjust for diminishing light, then back at it to complete another dazzling work of art.

you are so lucky to live in such a sunny climate, all we get here in ireland is rain and more rain, not so easy to paint , i love your work paul, xx
