USA Revisited 30 Moonlight in Joshua

A series of images taken close to each other mostly on one of the first decent DSLRs, the Canon 10D on various visits in 2004 to Canyons (such as Red Rock near Vegas), the Pacific coast (near where I used to live in Montecito) and a few on road trips up and down the Sierra Nevada range. Mild Topaz Spicify on some and bordering.

MODIS and GEOMAC overlays on a Google Earth map, with a view looking west across the mountains behind Montecito, toward the Jesusita Fire perimeter. This shot shows that the fires have been moving mostly up toward and over the ridge (past LaCumbre Peak, which was still missed in the last MODIS download) and east on the east flank.
