Based on the series of books by L. J. Smith, THE VAMPIRE DIARIES delves into the mystical life of being a vampire. All of this is brought to you by the executive producers Kevin Williamson ("Scream," "Dawson's Creek"), Julie Plec ("Kyle XY," "Wasteland"), Leslie Morgenstein ("Gossip Girl," "Private") and Bob Levy ("Gossip Girl," "Privileged"). Marcos Siega ("Dexter") directed the pilot. The cast has plenty of heavy hitters to go around. They include Nina Dobrev who is caught between two vampire brothers. One is good and one is evil. Nina has also just recently finished production on Montecito Pictures' "Chloe, IAN SOMERHALDER who plays Damon the evil brother of Nina and more dangerous than either brother. PAUL WESLEY who plays STEFAN SALVATORE who is the less dangerous of both the brothers, but yet he is still not to be underestimated.

In the vampire diaries episode 16 there goes the Neighborhood Anna brings a much older vampire (Anna's Mother) than Damon as a surprise guest when she makes a surprise visit to Damon. The guest visit was not to be social; it was to lay down the law that she wanted certain information about a very old council that Damon belongs to. Damon on the other hand is more bent on just killing Anna but he finds out very quickly that he is no match for her. Elena on the other hand and Stefan go on an awkward double date with Caroline and Matt, but Stefan and Matt find they still have some common feeling for each other. Elena on the other hand just wants to go on a normal date without having to worry about another vampire stalking her. Stefan works to make that a reality by not mentioning anything that may relate to the fact. Jenna reunites with her old friend Kellym and Jeremy's relationship with Anna takes an unexpected direction. Kevin Bray directed the episode written by Bryan Oh & Andrew Chambliss.
